Volunteers learn to handle the safety boat

Learning and development

Our Volunteers will be given the opportunity to learn to sail. Our fully RYA qualified instructors will run the RYA Start Sailing Level 1 and Basic Skills Level 2 courses and beyond.
Volunteers can also learn how to drive our quad bike that is used to manoeuvre the boats in the yard.
Safety boat training will also be available.

Opportunity for fun races

Fancy a go at an informal race with other voluneers? Each Saturday informal races are organised. It is a great social occasion and an opportuinity to  learn to race challengers.
