What we offer
This is the year to explore, dream, and discover. We all need an adventure in life.
Start your sailing adventure today and discover a world of possibilities.
When can I sail?
Our active season is April to October inclusive. Our sailing slots run 10:00 -15:30, Tuesday & Thursdays.
Cost per sailor is £8 per 30-minute session for a Challenger, Lugger or Access boat.

Booking a sail
Please ensure you have a booked slot before attending, as we don't want to disappoint anyone. This can be done by Phone, Text or Email. We do have a tight booking schedule that is almost at capacity.
We also understand sometimes you may encounter delays or setbacks in your journeys. This can impact the schedule for other bookings. Please let us know if you are running late or cannot attend.
A text message is best.

Site Facilities
At Peterborough Sailability our facilities include 2 electric hoists supporting our Challenger boats and a manual hoist on the pontoon supporting the Luggers. The hoisting must be operated by the carers, Sailability volunteers are not permitted to operate or help with hoisting of individual sailors.
Accessible toilets are available on site, courtesy of Nene Outdoors together with changing rooms, together with cafe where refreshments and food can be enjoyed overlooking the lake.
Free parking is also available for Sailability users.

Sailing gear
All sailors must wear a life jacket which we provide and help to fit correctly. We also have a range of waterproof clothing available to borrow for when conditions are less than perfect. Remember your sunscreen lotion and that it is always colder on the water than on land.
